Time for recycling
in Montville Township!
New Jersey is
the first state who purchased the Recycle Coach application and made it
available to the residents free of charge. The Recycle Coach application
optimizes and provide recycling information in a clear and concise manner to
improve recycling rates as well as engages residents into the exciting journey
learning about ‘Reduce, Re-use and Recycle” principles.
“Recycling is
something most of us do every day, and the Recycle Coach app will help us reach
even more people to remind them about how they can help the environment,” said
N.J. Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin. “In turn,
this tool will help all New Jerseyans in achieving our recycling goals and
demonstrate our state’s ongoing commitment as a national leader in recycling.”

Currently, the
application is actively in use by Long Beach Township, Highland Park, Fanwood
and Ridgefield, Burlington County and will become available statewide in early
2018.
Isn’t better to
have recycling information at your fingertips? Now everyone, who has
smartphone, tablet or access to the municipality website, can download or
connect to the Montville Township App that puts garbage, recycling and special
waste collection details anytime you want.
Recycle Coach
application offers the following features:

Easy access to the customized
schedule, including holiday changes, yard waste collection and HHW Events

Check the collection
requirements and set out times
·
Look-up tool ‘What goes where’
about recyclables and non-accepted waste
·
Set reminders for the special
collections and real-time updates
·
Use problem report tool that
allows to send notifications via email and photos of the issues such as missed
collection, illegal dumping, or container replacements
The Recycle
Coach application download is available on the Google Play and Apple Store for
free.
Residents can
get it by going to the Montville Township Website, clicking on the Recycling
Coach banner at the top and then be directed to the Garbage & Recycling
Page where you can access it.
