One of the ways the Montville Township Health Department is helping to address the opioid epidemic is to raise awareness among residents of the Drug Take-Back Program. Residents can drop off their unused, unwanted, or expired medications anonymously into a safe and secure receptacle in the lobby of the Public Safety Building, which is available 24/7. Removing these medications from homes prevents them from falling either accidentally or willfully into the wrong hands, and also protects the environment.
