[ARCHIVED] “The Opiate Epidemic – What Realtors Can Do”

The Montville Township Health Department is sponsoring an educational seminar called “The Opiate Epidemic – What Realtors Can Do” on March 28, 2017 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at the Montville Township Municipal Building at 195 Changebridge Road in Montville. This program is open to all Realtors and members of the public who are selling their homes, or may be planning to. Accidental and intentional misuse of prescription medications have played a large part in the recent startling and troubling rise of the opiate epidemic in Morris County, and homes that are accessible to the public via showings and open houses are frequently a target for those seeking to obtain prescription medications. This presentation by Morris County AssistantProsecutor Brad Seabury will provide valuable information on securing medications in homes during showings and open houses.  Free “Lock It Up Bags” will be given to thefirst 25 participants. The program is free, but pre-registration is required by calling the Montville Township Health Department at 973-331-3316.
