Chairman Lewis
proposed the Land Use Plan adoption schedule to the members present. The Plan
would be presented to the full Planning Board on November 10th.
Invitations from Chairman Karkowski would be sent through Meghan to the EDC,
HPRC, and Environmental Commission to attend the presentation to better
understand the Plan; Gary Lewis extended the invitation to the Zoning Board at
their meeting last night. A copy of the draft Plan would be released to each of
those agencies on the 10th so they could review and provide input
prior to the public hearing. The public hearing on the Plan would be held
December 9th.
The draft Plan
would be made available on the Township website; GL is working with Meghan to
develop a lead-in story for the front page of the website with a link to the
draft Plan and an e-mail link to provide comments. GL recommended to the Land
Use Office that they provide complimentary copies of the draft Plan on CD as
well as having the Plan available at the Land Use Office to review.
The
Subcommittee considered a number of clerical errors in the draft Land Use Plan
based upon their review. All were accepted and GL would forward on to Meghan
Hunscher for inclusion in the final draft, including a softening of the
re-zoning recommendation for 5 parcels on River Road opposite Knoll Road to provide for further
consideration towards re-zoning for office use based upon a study of
surrounding development patterns.
