PLANNING BUSINESS
Overview: Discussion regarding revisions to zoning
ordinance.
1. Discuss delegation of
approval of final minor site plan and final minor subdivision approval to
subcommittee. Subcommittee decided not to delegate final site plan approved to
subcommittee and leave decision with full board base on discussion with Mr.
Burgis. The subcommittee would not have
flexibility to pass decision to full board if they so chose. It was agreed that subcommittee would retain
ability to hear waivers.
2. Discuss Lake Recreation
District bulk and area standards. Mr.
Burgis prepared draft bulk standards based on the subcommittee’ review of the
2010 site plan submitted to the Zoning Board of Adjustment that depicts current
conditions on property. Preliminary
discussion included membership, setbacks, coverage, parking, and uses. The subcommittee agreed that membership is
not a land use or zoning issue and restrictions would not be placed on the term
“membership” included in the definition of country club as proposed.
Mr. Lewis requested that Mr.
Burgis and Ms. Hunscher discuss the eleven (11) remaining items and that Mr.
Burgis prepare a memo outlining specific recommendation. Next meeting scheduled for August 10, 2011 at
8 a.m. to discuss zoning ordinance revisions.
Mr. Lipari will be on vacation.

being no further business to discuss the meeting was unanimously adjourned at
10:30 a.m.
