MINUTES OF MAY 16 , 2012
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting began promptly at 7:30pm.
STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
“As required by the Open Public
Meetings Act, adequate notice of this meeting has been provided. The notice specified the time and place of
the meeting to the extent known at the time.
The notice was posted on the bulletin board at the Municipal Building,
sent to the Daily Record and placed on file in the Township Clerk’s office”.

Present: Monica Mianecki, Michele
Caron, Angelo Intile, Larry Kornreich, Garry Annibal, Andrew Pappachen, Alex
Nesterok, Deb Nielson, and Sam Monte
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Board of Adjustment –.Michele Caron has no report.
Board of Education – No report
Economic Development – Monica Mianecki reports that Rails spoke about
tenants. She was unable to attend
meeting. Larry Kornreich states that
they are still looking for development at the end of Bloomfield Ave.
Board of Health– Garry Annibal reports they
approved the use of fertilizer and pesticide storage at 1 Como Ct. The NJ Department of Agriculture will be
hanging purple devices to track emerald ashborer, an invasive species.
Open Space Committee – Angelo Intile absent, no report.
Planning Board – Larry Kornriech reports that cleanup is on going on
Jacksonville Rd. Soil movement
applications have been filed and approved for Gunthers View subdivision. Façade upgrade at Towaco Center and upgrades
at Lake Valhalla. JBT was approved for signage and storage facility.
Township Committee – Deb Nielson
absent, no report.
CORRESPONDANCE
LOI - 31 Schneider Lane, looking
to do wetlands delineation and 14 Virginia Road for wetlands.

MINUTES
On a motion made by Monica
Mianecki, the April 18, 2012 minutes were approved, seconded by Garry Annibal.
Approved by voice vote.
OLD BUSINESS
April Events - Cording Landscape
donated tree for Arbor Day
Recycling Day - Everything went
well. Very good turnout.
Weiss Property - Larry Kornreich
states that he responded to the Planning Board regarding the commissions
concerns regarding this project. The
Planning Board sent it to the Township Committee for approval. Megan Hunscher would like the commission to
review the plan.
ANJEC grant - Meghan Hunscher
received call back asking for Montville to lower the amount of grant
money. Three interns will be available
this summer.
Fall Event - Education program in
the works, rain barrel project, poster or essay project. Monica Mianecki will speak to Hugh Merritt.
