Keep Fire Hydrants and Sidewalks Clear Print E-mail

With the potential for another storm arriving Monday morning with significant snow accumulation possible, residents are reminded of the requirement to keep the area around fire hydrants on their property clear of snow and accessible from the street.  In the event of a fire emergency in your neighborhood, the quick availability of water from the hydrants could be the difference between life and death for you and your neighbors.

Township ordinances also require that sidewalks on your property be cleared of ice and snow within 24 hours after the end of a storm.
