MUNICIPAL BUILDING ANNOUNCEMENT SIGN POLICY
Montville Township information, Township event and meeting
announcements, and Township emergency notifications take precedent over any
other announcements.
Montville Township recognized community service clubs and
organizations; youth, senior, sports, and Township public school organizations
may request sign announcements.
Religious affiliations and political organizations are excluded.
Requests must be e-mailed to the Township Clerk’s office at least
ten days prior to the event. The
request must contain the following information: full name of organization, time, date, and place of the event,
contact name, title, e-mail address, and telephone number. The information requested to be posted must
be kept to the barest minimum.
Event announcements will be placed on the sign between 1 and
4 days prior to the event. The duration
of the posting will be between 1 and 4 days.
Date(s) and duration of postings will be determined by the number of
postings requested.
Every effort will be made to accommodate all requests. If many requests are received for the same
period of time, the postings will be determined on a first come, first served
basis. The dates of postings, their
duration, and content are the final decision of the Township Administrator or,
in his/her absence, the Township Clerk.
