Vegetative maintenance (tree trimming) will be conducted by a contractor hired by JCP&L along utility line right-of-ways in the north-western section of the Township during the first three months of 2013.  A representative of Lewis Tree Service has notified the Township that work will begin on January 2, 2013 on the roads listed below:

• Taylortown Road from Boonton Avenue to Rt. 202 (Main Road)
• Boonton Avenue
• Rockaway Valley Road
• Stoney Brook Road
• Lake Valhalla Area (all streets surrounding the lake)
• All Streets below Lake Valhalla to Rt. 202 (Main Road)

Route 202 is the southern limit of this phase of vegetative maintenance.  It is estimated that the work will be completed in two (2) to three (3) months.
